Keith Miller – Chef Manager
Chef Manager Keith is a chef by training and has worked in the food industry all his life. Most recently Keith was Executive Development Chef for a large food producer, but his career has included various development roles in food production as well as 15 years as chef lecturer at York College. Florian Poirot
Florian started his apprenticeship as a pastry chef in the north east of France where he earned his master diploma in pastry. He worked at the Thiebaut patisserie shop (relais dessert) which is considered to be one of the best patisserie shops in the world. Read more
Simon Phillips
Simon has been involved with the world of sushi since having first tried it in France in 1996. Being involved with the food industry since leaving university, Simon decided to open a sushi production kitchen in Leeds in 2004. Read more
Murdo MacLeod
Murdo MacLeod of Zest Mixology comes from a long background in the cocktail industry. Previously working for Bacardi Brown Foreman brands, he was a training manager and travelled the UK to deliver cocktail training to over 5,000 bartenders in recent years. Read more
Julie Springall
Julie is the main designer and creator at Cakes Nouveaux. She has 20 years experience in all aspects of sugarcraft and has worked at the internationally renowned Jane Asher Party Cakes in Chelsea, London. As Head Decorator, she designed and created cakes for public, royalty, pop and film celebrities, society balls, T.V and media events, charities and corporate functions. Read more
Prett Tejura
Former accountant Prett Tejura was born in Kenya, but has lived all her life in the UK. Currently based in Yorkshire, her origins stem from Gujarat, India and she has always had a passion for cooking. Over the past 10 years she has been collecting recipes from her family to pass down to her three children as she wants them to maintain some Indian traditions and culture, and believes that food is an excellent way of doing this. Stephanie Moon
Stephanie is a farmer's daughter raised on a Yorkshire hill farm near Settle. After 2 years studying at Craven College in Skipton she travelled down to London to train with Anton Mossiman at The Dorchester Hotel on Park Lane. Read more

Carl set up the Ministry of Chocolate because he’s passionate about chocolate. Not just because it's indulgent and it tastes good, but as a chocolatier and professional presenter he understands how chocolate can be used in a fun and constructive way. Read more
Gilly Robinson
With a passion for teaching children to cook and getting families to eat together Gilly enjoys using fresh ingredients combined with traditional techniques. Families who enjoy cooking and eating together are stronger and healthier. Read more
Juan Jose
Juan set up Tapas to Go in 2010, after working in retail management and HR for a number of years. He works from his home in York, and has numerous years of experience in preparing authentic Spanish dishes, from recipes that have been in his family for generations. Read more
