Nutrition Advice Service

In support of The Change Foundation's primary aim to promote health and well being through education and awareness we are pleased to offer the following services from our base at The Cooking Rooms:

• Individual consultation with our professional Nutritional Therapist Sally Duffin BSc Nutr Med, MBANT, MHFI
• Public access courses and workshops on food tolerance & allergies, diet and optimum nutrition, herbal & nutritional supplements
• Bespoke cookery classes and courses for groups
• Training and awareness events for support groups, carers, families, professionals and organisations keen to maintain a healthy workforce
• Information advice and guidance at our centre and online
• Training courses for anyone wishing to gain a deeper understanding of holistic nutrition (general interest and those interested in a career in nutrition)

We are pleased to be launching this new initiative in co-operation with Sally Duffin who runs 'Nutrition in York' a holistic nutritional therapy service. Her aim is to help people of all ages make positive transformations to their health through nutrition and lifestyle changes. She has over 10 years experience in the health food industry and holds a BSc in Nutritional Medicine alongside several industry awards for training and professional development. She has appeared many times on Radio York and recently featured in "Your Healthy Living" magazine.

Accredited CIEH Courses

Sally Hanley Nat.Dip., IfL, Adv Food Safety, is a Chartered Institute of Environmental Health registered trainer/facilitator for Food Safety Awards Levels 1, 2, & 3, in the Catering/Retail/Manufacturing sectors of the Food Industry.

She has a considerable number of years experience working for the Catering Industry as Chef and Manager, latterly at Drax Power Station, in charge of the on-site staff catering and visitors hospitality sections.

Sally is involved with training people from diverse sectors of the catering industry and has delivered food safety training over the past 13 years to groups both large and small in numerous locations across the North of England
