A team building event at The Cooking Rooms is the perfect way to hone communication skills and practice the art of co-operation. Cookery makes the ideal team building event as it places the team in such a different context that any established roles from the work environment become irrelevant.

Options include wine tasting, chocolate classes, mixology (cocktail mixing) and cookery classes covering every cuisine you can think of. We can inject some competition into the event or just cook for the sheer fun of it.

Choose from a variety of menus and get working together to produce great food to enjoy together. If you have specific objectives for your event, talk to us about tailoring the day to your requirements.

Prices start at £125 per person or £65 per person for an evening event.

The Cooking Rooms is Yorkshire’s newest cookery school and is conveniently located for a team event, being accessible from London King’s Cross in less than 2 hours, from Edinburgh in 2 ½ hours and from Leeds in less than half an hour.

If you are looking for a truly unique way to celebrate your special occasion then look no further. A private cooking party at The Cooking Rooms is a fun and relaxing way to spend quality time with friends and family. Our chefs will guide you through the creation of your own culinary masterpieces which you can then enjoy together with wine.

A range of cookery themes and menus are available, depending on your taste and budget. Cookery themes include: canapé and champagne evenings, wine tasting events, chocolate making parties or cookery lessons themed on a particular regional cuisine such as Italian, French or Indian.

You can book half day, full day or evening parties and prices start from £45 per person depending on theme and length of event.
